Where is Gordo from “Lizzie McGuire” now?

If you used to watch the show Lizzie McGuire when you were younger, you would remember the character named Gordo played by Adam Lamberg. Every young girl had a crush on him and everyone wanted Lizzie and Gordo to end up together in the end. Predictably, that is exactly what happened in “The Lizzie McGuire Movie”. After that movie, Gordo seemed to disappear off the face of the earth. Thanks to Adam Lamberg’s Facebook, we can see how Gordo has progressed since “Lizzie McGuire”.

Go Away

We can see he loves chickens…

…and weed.

There were actually 2 very small and low key movies that Gordo was in after the end of the “Lizzie McGuire” show. One movie is called “When Do We Eat?” where he played a Jewish autistic man. The other movie is called “Beautiful Loser” where he falls desperately in love with a beautiful girl from high school. In all honesty, those movies were pretty bad. Could that be the reason Gordo ditched the acting business? It may be…but what is he doing now?

Gordo Now

Adam Lamberg aka. Gordo now works at the Irish Arts Center in New York City. So he’s a Jewish Irishman. He looks pretty zombie-esque and like he hasn’t slept in a week in this picture. Someone call the makeup artist!

Which Actor Played the Best Spider-Man?

One thing is for sure: every Spider-Man movie is guaranteed to be filled with action and excitement.

Even so, the acting of the masked hero varies. We now have 3 different actors that have donned the Spidey suit on the big screen. They have all put in great effort, but who is the best? Let’s weigh the options.

Tom Holland is a new and fresh face for Peter Parker and Spider-Man. He really connects with the younger audience members. He has the funny factor of Spider-Man, but does he pull off the nerd aspect of Peter Parker? He seems like too much of a cool kid. Let’s be honest…if he were in our high school classes, he would be the most popular guy in school. He also seems like a flat-out crony of Iron Man. He’ll sometimes be dealing with situations on his own, but he’ll usually have Iron Man breathing down his neck.

Andrew Garfield was very humorous, but he’s also too cool. And what’s with the skateboard? Peter Parker did NOT have a skateboard in the comics! Andrew Garfield was so inaccurate that it wasn’t even funny. The Amazing Spider-Man was tolerable, but The Amazing Spider-Man 2 completely killed that franchise. No one really wanted to know what happened to Peter and Spidey after that trainwreck.

The storylines of both The Amazing Spider-Man and Spider-Man: Homecoming lack the emotional depth of the original Spider-Man movies, also. They’re entertaining, but how well can we see through Peter Parker’s eyes?  They also come off as conceited Peter Parkers. Their mannerisms don’t coincide with the self-conscious way that Peter Parker is supposed to be.

Tobey Maguire is the perfect nerdy Peter Parker. He is shy and awkward just like Peter was in the comic books. He is only comfortable with himself when he has his mask on. His movies before also had a Peter Parker feel…they were like preparation for his biggest role of all: Spider-Man. His acting seems so real and authentic, too. He really brings us into the life of Peter Parker and his struggles. We feel as if we are literally seeing through Peter’s eyes. And he made Spider-Man known worldwide.

Tobey Maguire may have lacked some comedic lines when he was donning the suit, but that was due to the writing of the movie and the fact that the scenes weren’t supposed to be funny at all. When he did have comedic lines, he pulled them off very well. Peter Parker is supposed to be someone who is quiet but occasionally wisecracking. Tobey pulled that off to a t and we need him back. We need the story line to continue or else he will always be “Spider-Man No More”.

The Disaster Artist – Should You See It?

dave

The Disaster Artist is definitely worth seeing. It’s actually worth seeing more than once (which is what I’m going to do because I loved it so much). I haven’t had this much fun in a movie since EVER! James Franco is a spot-on Tommy Wiseau who plays the character Johnny in The Room and James is amazing when he recreates The Disaster Artist scenes from The Room. Because James Franco put in so much dedication to this role, he is a wonderful Tommy and a wonderful director for the movie in general. He even stayed in Tommy’s character when he was directing the movie!

Tommy and James

That being said, I think in order to really enjoy this movie, you’ll have had to see The Room first. Trust me, you will enjoy it!!! I saw it for the first time a year ago and I have probably watched it at least 50 times now. Yes, it is an awful movie! But that is WHY it’s good. Tommy Wiseau is absolutely perfect in the movie because you just can’t turn away. James Franco really captures his essence in The Disaster Artist. And, he is now nominated for Golden Globes due to how amazing the movie is.

The Disaster Artist is mainly about the relationship between the two main actors in The Room: Tommy Wiseau and Greg Sestero. And because of this, it is so interesting. They are the weirdest pair of best friends you could imagine! Tommy is so much older than Greg (even though he won’t reveal his age or where he was born haha). This is why they’re weird best friends. This shows that any friendship can flourish regardless of pointless differences. If two people click, they click. It’s as simple as that.

Dave Franco plays Greg Sestero in The Disaster Artist. His performance wasn’t amazing in my opinion, though. James Franco picked him to be Greg because he is his brother, and that is apparent. Even so, the storyline makes up for this. The other actors are decent, but the movie focuses on Tommy and Greg’s relationship.

The scenes that James Franco recreates as Tommy Wiseau are absolutely perfect! He put sooo much into this movie. If you are a James fan and/or a Tommy fan, you will like this movie. I guarantee it!
